We offer a range of line-ups to suit events of all sizes and budgets. The smallest ensemble is the Dynamic Duo, a musical partnership between John Rixon (bass) and Howard Peacock (guitar) which has lasted for over a decade, since they met as students at Oxford.

For medium and large events, we recommend expanding the group to a Trio, featuring John, Howard, and Sophie Alloway (drums). The trio provides exciting explorations of both familiar and less-well-known jazz standards, with a strong interplay between these creative musicians.

A popular choice is to add Saxophone or Trumpet to create a Quartet. The addition of a horn provides additional texture to the ensemble sound and opens up possibilities of extra harmony within the band, conjuring up a new world of tonal possibilities.

For those looking for something special, we recommend adding Amy Matthews (vocals) to the line-up. Amy's distinctive vocal style combines the clear tones of a young Ella Fitzgerald with the warmth and emotional power of modern jazz stylists like Diana Krall and Cassandra Wilson.
